The Kamenoko Karukaya Tawashi brush is handmade in Japan with Karukaya grass.
Karukaya (themeda triandra var. japonica) is a variety of kangaroo grass and is one of the best materials for fast cleaning cast iron pots, woks or skillet pans.
Other abrasive brushes will scrub off the natural coating of the pan while this brush gently cleans grease and dirt without damaging it.
Besides being a gentle material another characteristic of this Karukaya brush is that it does not adsorb oil and drys quick.
Instructions
Best to use while the pan is still hot.
Wet the brush before use.
